CRAFT structural is
Imaginative Structural Engineering
Erin H. Salmatanis, PE
CRAFT structural LLC organically sprouted in 2017 and became rooted in 2018. Founding Principal, Erin H. Salmatanis, PE is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas with over 20 years of varied experience. A Texan native, Houston born and raised, Erin attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 2000 with a BS in Architectural Engineering, specializing in structural engineering. Experience in the A/E/C industry includes residential and commercial, including single and multi-family, adaptive-reuse, civic, academic, structural assessment, LEED and more. As a result of this experience, Erin is familiar with structures of all materials. She is comfortable with managing all phases of a project: SD, DD, CD, and CA, demanding that QA/QC serve a main role from the start. Here at CRAFT, construction documents are uniquely produced for every project and considered a craft themselves. CRAFT structural’s objective is to promote the role of the engineer as part of the creative process and to explore the endless possibilities when architect (builder, and/or client) and engineer truly collaborate in the built environment.
Erin is currently a licensed professional engineer in both Texas and Washington state.
